How we calculate this
Savings estimates are validated by EPVS and, in this illustration, are based on a home with 3,500 kWh annual consumption, 10 solar panels generating 3,931 kWh per year, a 5 kW inverter and a 12 kWh battery on Octopus Flux. The Old bill of £1,112 a year is the estimated annual cost of powering the same home without solar or battery, including standing charges. Grid Rewards are separate from these tariff-dependent bill-saving estimates. Rates may change under the Grid Rewards terms, with at least 15 days’ notice of a reduction.
