Bill savings are estimates and depend on your system, tariff and usage. Grid Rewards are additional to bill savings, accrue for active days at your applicable rate, and rates may change.
How we calculate this
Savings estimates are validated by EPVS and, in this illustration, are based on a home with 3,500 kWh annual consumption, 10 solar panels generating 3,931 kWh per year, a 5 kW inverter and a 12 kWh battery on Octopus Flux. The Old bill of £1,112 a year is the estimated annual cost of powering the same home without solar or battery, including standing charges. Grid Rewards are separate from these tariff-dependent bill-saving estimates. Rates may change under the Grid Rewards terms, with at least 15 days’ notice of a reduction.
