How we calculate this

Savings estimates are validated by EPVS and, in this illustration, are based on a home with 3,250 kWh annual consumption, 12 solar panels generating 4,824 kWh per year, a 5 kW inverter and a 15 kWh battery on Octopus Flux. The Old bill of £1,050 a year is the estimated annual cost of powering the same home without solar or battery, including standing charges. Grid Rewards are separate from these tariff-dependent bill-saving estimates. Rates may change under the Grid Rewards terms, with at least 15 days’ notice of a reduction.
